Arch Linux on a Toshiba Satellite A100-784
What was tested

Sound: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller

install alsa-lib alsa-utils and run alsaconf

Wireless: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection

Intel 3945abg is fully supported on Linux

Either install ipw3945 and add ipw3945 to your module array in /etc/rc.conf and ipw3945d to your daemon array in rc.conf before the network daemon

Or install iwlwifi and iwlwifi-3945-ucode, then add iwl3945 in the module array in /etc/rc.conf

wireless switch:
works

Ethernet: Intel Corporation PRO/100 VE Network Connection

I used the omnibook module. In order to obtain it add the following server to your /etc/pacman.conf

[archlinuxfr]

Server = http://repo.archlinux.fr/i686

Do a pacman -Sy and then pacman -S yaourt

after it finishes you can install the module using the command yaourt omnibook and choosing the omnibook-svn version

add the omnibook module in the module array in /etc/rc.conf and the following entry in /etc/modprobe.conf

option omnibook ectype=14

touchpad: Synaptics Touchpad
works

lcd screen brightness:

Works
add the video module to your /etc/rc.conf

you can decrease or increase the brightness by echoing values to /proc/acpi/video/VGA/LCD/brightness ex. echo 10 > /proc/acpi/video/VGA/LCD/brightness

headphone jack:
Works

fn keys:
Some functionality, video module needed for some of them to work

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take scarlet blade gold, but by the moments that take our breath away scarlet blade gold. I have a simple philosophy: Fill what's empty scarlet blade gold.

For the past few weeks, I've immersed myself in "Fortnite Battle Royale," the most popular game on earth at this time. I have been enjoying relentlessly, buying Fortnite Items and once I'm not playing, I've been watching and analyzing the best "Fortnite" streamers, like Ninja.

Nevertheless, after tons of hours of playing and watching "Fortnite," I felt as though I was not really improving from the match. I had been dying early and frequently. And while I might have been getting the hang of the numerous controls, building and shooting -- the two essential functions in "Fortnite" for offense and defense, respectively -- were not instinctive to me. I was becoming easily overwhelmed in firefights. And this was frustrating to me personally, since I play a lot of video games.

I'm nowhere near the level of expert streamers like you, Fortnite Items but I am consistently finishing in the top 10 to 25 players, and generally with at least one or two kills under my belt.
